New Workplace Supplies Contract

New Supplier Announcement

Suppliers on Contract (per Lot and Sub-Lot)

NSW Procurement will be introducing the new State Contracts Control Board's Workplace Supplies contract in February, 2010. The key implementation dates can be seen on our website.
The Workplace Supplies contract will offer almost 26,500 items categorised into lots and sub-lots (a grouping of products). Suppliers are contracted to supply items only from specific lots or sub-lots.

Click here for a table showing the lots and / or sub lots, and the suppliers contracted to each of these.

Premier's Memorandum 2006-11
The Premier's memorandum M2006-11 NSW Procurement Reforms mandates that "All agencies, other than State Owned Corporations, must use State Contracts Control Board's (SCCB's) whole-of-government contracts, where they are available, when procuring goods and services."

Between now and the commencement of the Workplace Supplies contract, we recommend you avoid signing Preferred Supplier Arrangements with suppliers of these types of goods. If you do, once this contract commences you may find that your agency does not comply with the Premier's Memorandum above.

Similarly, we recommend you set an end date for all open order arrangements you may have for workplace supplies, and advise NSWP of these arrangements.
