NSW eTendering Improvements |
The next release of eTendering, scheduled for Friday 2 July, will include improvement to the system that will be of benefit to both Public Users and Agency Administrators.

New Feature
|
Standing Offer Notice (SON) – new admin console
The new function is to administer ‘panel’ or ‘standing offer’ arrangements that are currently managed as Contract Notices, with value type ‘Contract Estimated Per Annum’. The new SON admin console will operate exactly like the Contract Notice (CN) admin console and will be accessible to the current CN users. The main difference is that Suppliers on the panel arrangement appear all on the one notice.

Standing Offer Notice – public search & view
This will include a new menu option and selection filters for searching Standing Offer Notices on the public website.

Standing Offer Notice – report
A new report – Standing Offer Notice Published report will be made available within the Reports console.

Standing Offer Notice – data migration
All existing standing offer arrangements stored as Contract Notices with value type ‘Contract Estimate Per Annum’ will be migrated to the new SON Administration console.

Enhancement
|
Contract Notice & Standing Offer Notice – ACN validation
New validation will be introduced for Australian Company Numbers (ACN's). When an Australian Business Number (ABN) is provided without an ACN the system will seek to automatically obtain and populate the ACN field from the ABR Service. However, if no ACN is found, the administrator will be required to select an exemption option.

New Feature
|
Publish Tender – not leading to contract award message
A default message will be made available for inclusion at the time of creating a tender to indicate that the tender will not lead to the awarding of a contract. The default message can be customised and will only be publically displayed once the tender has closed.
