Renewed IT Hardware Contract (c2846)
  
State contract ITS 846 expired at the end of April 2010. The replacement agreement (C2846 - Server Platforms, Storage, Virtualisation Technologies, UPSs and Associated Support Services) currently has four suppliers on contract with others expected to be progressively added in the near future.

  • Finalisation of contracts with other shortlisted suppliers is underway. The published contract guide, available through www.nswbuy.com.au, will be updated as individual contract agreements are signed and suppliers added to the panel.
  • Non Blade, X86 1, 2 and 4 socket servers with direct storage attached will continue to be available via the ITS 2007 contract.
  • Contract Term: 2 Years with 3 x 12 month extension options
ITS 2007 Clarification

  
On the 28th of May, 2010, a nswbuy alert was issued that stated that Acer was not approved to supply GSS Desktop computers. Acer and NSW Procurement are in negotiation, and until finalised, Acer will continue to supply the models that were listed on the contract before negotiations commenced.

An alert will be issued when the negotiations with Acer have concluded.
