ITS 2007 Contract - Desktop and Notebook Computers
The State Contracts Control Board (SCCB) has approved a one year extension of the ITS 2007 PC contract to 30 April 2011. 
The key contract extension features include:
- Equivalent or better Government Standard Specification (GSS) price thresholds
- Improved GSS product specifications in some categories
- A quarterly price review commencing 1 August 2010
- All Vendor contracts have been extended with the exception of Acer Australia who is not approved to supply GSS Desktop computers against new orders
ITS 2007 Contract – Servers
Non Data Centre 1, 2 and 4 socket x86 based servers (excluding blade servers) are available via ITS 2007. The Server category of ITS 2007 expires on 13 August 2011.
ITS 2846 Storage, Server platform and Virtualisation Technology
Contract ITS 846 expired on 30 April 2010. Deeds for the replacement contract ITS 2846 are currently being finalised and are expected to be completed by early June 2010. The ITS 2846 contract, similarly to ITS 846 is specifically designed to provide equipment relevant to data centre, related storage and virtualisation requirements.
