NSW eTendering Improvements

The next release of eTendering improvements, scheduled for Tuesday 30 March, will benefit both the public and agency users.

Listed below are the improvements.

CATEGORY
DESCRIPTION
Enhancement
Manage Respondent - publish list
Currently an agency administrator required to publish RFT respondents needs to open the specific RFT Respondents List page or run an RFT report to see if this was done previously. To improve the agency administrator’s workflow a new ‘published’ field will be included on the Respondent RFT list screen, which will indicate RFTs still needing to be disclosed.

Enhancement
Registered User - password reset
Agencies frequently receive calls from registered users requesting password resets, often close to tender closing deadlines. This change will give agency administrators, in addition to NSWP Client Support Centre staff, the ability to reset registered user passwords.

Enhancement
Lodge a Response - new link
This enhancement will assist and facilitate the lodging of a tender response, during the last 7 days of a tender closing. An additional 'Lodge a Response' link will appear on the Current Tender List page, next to the 'Full Details' link. However, to ensure potential respondents have reviewed the tender details and downloaded tender documents, the new link will only appear 7 days prior to the tender closing date.

Enhancement
Reports - new filter criteria
This enhancement will improve the contract notice reporting by introducing a new selection filter criteria of 'Contract Value Type' to the three existing contract notice reports:
  • Top Suppliers
  • Contract Notice Published
  • Contract Notice Export

State Contracts carry an average 1.4% Supplier Management Fee
