State Contracts Information Folders

Some clients may have received a NSW Procurement  information folder in 2009. This folder was developed to provide clients with State Contract Fact Sheets and other collateral on NSW Procurement services.

Our plan is to send out new information folders with current Fact Sheets  to all those clients who currently have folders and to some existing clients who don't have folders. Look out for these folders arriving over the next couple of months.

Contracts replaced by ICT Services contract
The ICT Services contract and online portal was launched during 2009 and is now being utilised by most NSW Government Agencies. Advice on Enterprise Software Solutions
The Department of Services, Technology and Administration is currently considering industry responses to its Request for Information (RFI) to investigate options for NSW Government's $100 million software spend and to ensure the broadest range of options are available to meet Government's future software needs. As a major purchaser of software products, NSW Government needs to get the greatest value from its purchases and support innovation. NSW Government wants to consider new models for software such as Software as a Service (SaaS) and open source solutions. Read more

It Hardware Contract to be renewed

State Contract c846 ( Midrange and Entreprise Servers ) is to be renewed and renamed as State Contract c2846 (Storage, Server Platforms and Virtualisation Technology).

Tender evaluation of c2846 is progresing and it is expected the renewed contract will commence April / May 2010.

Agencies may continue to purchase through c846 which has been extended to 30 April 2010.
