New Natural Gas Contract (c4000)

The State Contracts Control Board has awarded contract  Retail Supply of Natural Gas Small Sites (c4000) to AGL.

The new contract rates will commence on 1 June 2010 providing competitive discounted rates for all your small sites natural gas needs.

While agencies will see an increase in the gas prices under the current contract, due to industry and economic pressures in the energy sector, savings under this new contract are up to 12% off the standard IPART tariff rates.

Clients currently purchasing from the c4000 contract will be required to transition to the new contract by 31 May 2010, in order to avoid being charged standard IPART tariff rates. Clients affected by this change will be contacted directly by AGL with further information and the Retail Gas Services Agreements (RGSA) to complete and return by the 31st May 2010.

If you are considering utilising the new c4000 contract for the first time, a feature of this new contract is the "unlimited roll-in" where new sites can be added to the contract. To start benefiting from discounted rates on Natural Gas (small sites) simply contact AGL for an RGSA and add your sites onto the new contract.

NSW Procurement will shortly be publishing a Fact Sheet and Contract Guide for the new c4000 Retail Supply of Natural Gas Sites to assist in answering any enquiries you may have. Should you have any further questions or concerns regarding your current contract you are welcome to contact AGL on 1300 793 477 or regarding the transition process contact the NSW Procurement Client Support Centre on 1800 NSW BUY (1800 679 289).
