The next release of NSW etendering improvements, scheduled for 28 May, will include 4 new fields for industrial relations information in 'Contract Notice' disclosures.
The details to be included are:
- The successful contractor's ACN
- The names of the sub-contractors, including their ABN and ACN
- The industrial instruments applying to their employees working on the contract
- The locations of work
NSW Industrial Relations inspectors routinely audit the employment records of contractors and sub contractors to all NSW Government Contracts. The results of these inspections are published on the NSW Industrial Relations website.
The new fields located on the Contract Notice are 'free text' fields and will always be publically displayed with the contract award notice.
