Novell Common Use Software
Extension and Savings
Contract 2313 Novell Common Use Software has been extended for a period of up to 12 months from 1 July 2011.
As part of the extension, significant savings opportunities and enhanced offerings are available to all eligible customers.
Savings on Maintenance
Customers can save 5% for commitment to a 2 year renewal on maintenance agreements, or 10% discount for a 3 year renewal on maintenance agreements.
Savings on Software
In addition to the existing 44% discount that NSW Government customers receive for Novell software, customers are now also eligible for volume discounts:

Software Bundles Offering
Novell will continue to offer the Compliance Management and Transition Bundles to support key initiatives within Government.
In addition, Novell offers the following new software bundles:
- The Endpoint Lifecycle Management suite
- Compliance Management suite

Services
Novell Services is looking to continue to provide investment in projects to ensure that NSW Government meet future business requirements, reduce risk and increase efficiency of services. These include offerings for Service Consulting Days, Upgrade Programs and Business Value Assessments (BVAs). Refer to the Contract Guide for further details.
Novell Resources
Novelle's offerings include Novell resources to support Agency planning and help the NSW Government build capability. Customers are encouraged to contact Novell for further details. Contact information is provided in the Contract Guide.
